Live captions

Live captioning is a feature that allows you to see subtitles for any audio or video content on your device. It can be useful for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who want to watch something without sound. Live captioning is available on Windows, Google Chrome, and we will provide them on LinkedIn. For Windows and Google Chrome, you can enable it with a few simple steps.

On Windows, you need to have Windows 11, version 22H2 or newer installed. Then, go to Settings > Ease of Access > Audio and turn on the toggle for Show audio as captions. You can also customize the appearance and language of the captions from there. Once you enable this feature, you will see captions for any sound that plays on your device, including media players, web browsers, games, and apps. For more information, you can visit the Windows support page on live captioning.

On Google Chrome, you need to have version 89 or later installed. Then, go to Settings > Advanced > Accessibility and turn on the toggle for Live Caption. You can also change the language and font size of the captions from there. Once you enable this feature, you will see captions for any audio or video content that plays on Chrome, including YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, and podcasts. For more information, you can visit the Google support page on live captioning.

DATA BASH will be streamed on LinkedIn. On LinkedIn, you will have the possibility to turn on live captions.
